Kathy Thornton joined the Adkins Arboretum staff as Land Steward in 2017 after serving as a Chesapeake Conservation Corps volunteer. She is often out and about on the grounds, in the gardens, wading through the wetland, taking care of the goats, or at the native plant nursery.
